Projector FUNCTION

Once the Projection Type has been set it is necessary to
select an appropriate Projector FUNCTION. The
FUNCTOIN is related to Projection Type and if not
correctly set presentation cannot be realized.
Note
It is important that when the SPL presentation is to be
started by Schedule the correct Projector FUNCTION
included in a Show Playlist be appropriate to the Projection
Type. An incorrectly selected FUCNTION will cause the
presentation to fail. A Warning Message will appear
approximately 20 minutes before the Show Start Time.
Caution
If the Projection type is "Single 3D," schedule playback of
SPLs that do not include CPLs cannot be performed.

Adjustment

The Projector Adjustment functions available are dependant
on the Projection Type previously set. In addition to the
difference in Previously, registration adjustment and Blue
images and the selection of Test Patterns used during these
adjustments required the use of the SRX Controller
application. In Version 2.20 and later of the SMS these
functions have been added to features available via the
Projectionist Terminal.

Projection Type 2D

To access
Tap Adjustment
ADJUSTMENT, tap
Menu, tap Projector and
then tap Adjustment.
The ADJUSTMENT
pane based on a 2D
Projection Type appears.
The ADJUSTMENT
pane contains a display
showing which
FUNCTION is currently

selected , and controls
allowing access to TEST
PATTERNS and to
REGISTRATION
ADJUSTMENT.
1.Access to the Adjustment pane is only available when
the Projector is in ON mode, the Projection Type is 2D and
the selected FUNCTION is a 2D FUNCTION.

Registration Adjustment
Test Pattern (Select)
A number of Test Patterns are available for use during the
Registration Adjustment process. In addition, other test
patterns are available for other adjustment processes, e.g.,
Image Sizing, etc.
To select a specific Test Pattern, tap Test Pattern on the
ADJUSTMENT pane. The TEST PATTERNS popup
appears. Patterns available are:
• OFF
• Gray-8 and Gray-10 (centered white block at 80%
and 100% white respectively)
• Gray-2 FULL, Gray-8 FULL and Gray-10 FULL
(20%, 80% and 100% white, Full Screen)
• Red1, Blue1, and Green1 (centered block)
• Crosshatch and Crosshatch Inverted
• Checkered Flag
• Flat (image sizing reference)
• CinemaScope (image sizing reference)
• Test Mode 1
Insure that OFF is
selected when
adjustments are
complete.
Note
When making a Test
Pattern selection,
other Projector
Settings remain
unchanged but the
selected test pattern
appears on the
screen.
Insure that OFF is selected when adjustments are
complete.
