Marriage

Performs Marriage processes between the Media Block
and Projector according to DCI requirements.
To access MARRIAGE, tap Menu, tap Maintenance and
then tap Marriage.
Before performing
Marriage, synchronize
Media Block with the
SMS Server clock. See
"Clock Settings" on
page 67 for additional
information.
To perform Marriage,
you must log in with the
proper function
restriction role.
After performing
Marriage, always initialize
CSS Security. See the
previous section for
additional information.
The MARRIAGE pane appears.
In this pane, you can check the Marriage status between
the Media Block and the Projector.
The MARRIAGE pane uses the following status
indicators.
(Green) - Safety is assured.
(Yellow) - Not connected.
(Red) - Safety is not assured.
(Gray) - Status cannot be ascertained.
Note
For software version 2.20 and later, Marriage will be
disconnected also when the enclosure is opened.

Network Setup (Theater)

The Auditorium Unit's configuration for connecting to the
Theater Network is via a dedicated network connection on
the SMS Server. Configuration of this connection is
realized using the Network Setup screen on the
Projectionist Terminal.
Settings available on the Network Setup screen apply to
the SMS Server's Theater Network connection only.
Typically, the Screen
Management System
Controller is connected
to the Theater Network.
If the Theater Network
settings are incorrect
then access to the
Auditorium Unit from
the Screen Management
System Controller is not
possible.
To access Network
Setup, tap Menu, tap
Maintenance, and then
tap Network Setup. The
Network Setup screen
appears
Two groups appear on the Network Setup screen. They
are; IP ADDRESS ASSIGNMENT and DNS ADDRESS
ASSIGNMENT.

Network Address Assignment

The IP ADDRESS ASSIGNMENT group includes
settings for the SMS Server's IP address, it's Subnet Mask,
and, when needed, the IP address of the Gateway between
the Auditorium Unit and the Theater Network.

Address assignments can be either Static or Automatic (if DHCP
is in use). The above illustration shows a Static configuration.
