Addressing of the KLM-E extension modules takes place on the basis of dip switches (see
Fig.). The respectively required setting is documented in the electrical circuit diagram.
Meaning of the LEDs
LED orange (in the middle above the three other LEDs): power supply KLM-E OK
LED red (left) on permanently: input measurement outside valid range
LED red (left) flashing: communication of KLM-L and KLM-E disturbed
LED orange (middle): sensor defect or connected incorrectly
LED green (right): communication of KLM-L and KLM-E is active
