Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1.
Remove the cabinet front (see page 4-16).
2.
Remove the pump (see page 4-31).
3.
Remove the motor (see page 4-50).
4.
Remove the two - 1/2 inch bolts that secure
the motor plate to the transmission.
5.
Remove the agitator (see page 4-23).
6.
Remove the spanner nut from the center
with a spanner wrench
(see page 4-27 step 5).
7.
Remove the wire harness clip by squeezing
the tab and pulling the wire harness clip out
of the hole in the transmission.
reMOve THe TraNSMiSSiON
Two - 1/2
inch bolts
8.
Tilt the washer back to allow access to
the three - 1/2 inch bolts that secure the
transmission to the washer.
9.
Slide the transmission and agitator shaft
down and out of the washer.
