Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Replace all parts and panels before
operating.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
1. Remove entire cabinet (see page 4-17).
2. Remove the tub ring (see page 4-24).
3. Lift the balance ring to release it from the
clips that secure it to the basket and remove
it from the washer.

4. The clips are in the slot on the underside
of the balance ring and they grab onto the
top edge of the basket. Clips that become
loose should be replaced.
5. If the balance ring is found to be loose or
it is to be removed, ensure that all clips
are present in the available slots under the
balance ring. If not, try to locate the missing
clip by checking inside the wash tub and or
inside the pump prior to starting the washer.
