Creating several new devices

Requirement
● The csv file exists and is filled correctly, see Structure of the csv file (Page 116).
● The activated license is adequate, see Managing licenses (Page 57).
Importing a csv file
1. Click the "Import" button on the page with the device list.
2. Click the "Browse" button and select the csv file.
3. Click "Import".
Result
Before it is imported, the csv file is checked to make sure it is correct. After importing the file,
the devices are listed on the "Device selection" tab. The devices have not yet, however,
been created on the SINEMA Server.
Creating a device
1. Check the status of the devices. The devices can have the following status.
2. Select the required devices.
3. Enter a password and confirm it. See also the guidelines in the section "Permitted
characters (Page 21)".
4. Click "Finish".
Result
The devices will be created on the SINEMA RC Server. Depending on how many devices
you have selected, creating them may take some time.

Description
All settings are OK. The device can be created without prob-
lems.
A device with this name already exists.
The settings of this device will be overwritten by the settings
from the csv file.
The device cannot be imported. Either there is a conflict in
the network settings or the participant group does not exist.
If you hover over the symbol with the mouse pointer some-
what longer, the name of the device with which the conflict
exists will be displayed.
