Start the setting procedure. The numbers of the base sta-
tions at which the handset is registered are displayed.

After selecting a preferred base station, a combined se-
arch for base stations can be conducted as follows:
– for 30 seconds, the mobile unit searches for the set
base station
– if this base station cannot be found, the mobile unit
then searches for the base station with the best radio
reception conditions
– after switching on again or when out of range, the mo-
bile unit again begins to search for the set base station.
