The RECORDING CONDITIONS SET display
appears, displaying the current settings.

Turn the Jog dial to highlight the OVERWRITE
line of the area to be set and turn the Shuttle dial
clockwise.
The current setting (default: ON) flashes.

To deactivate the overwrite function, set
OVERWRITE to OFF and turn the Shuttle dial
clockwise.
Changing the percentage to warn the
remaining
When OVERWRITE is OFF, the FULL or ALARM
FULL indicator on the front panel will flash and an
alarm signal will be output from the FULL or ALARM
FULL terminal if the remaining capacity of the normal
or alarm recording area drops to a certain percentage.
This value is set to 1% in the default setting.
You can change it on the RECORDING
CONDITIONS SET display.

Turn the Jog dial to highlight the REMAINING
DISK WARNING line and turn the Shuttle dial
clockwise.
The current setting (default: 1) flashes.

Turn the Jog dial to set the desired value and turn
the Shuttle dial clockwise.
The value can be selected in the range of 1 to 10%.
When the settings are completed
Press the EXIT button to exit the menu.

Limiting the data-retention period
It is possible to limit the data-retention period for
recorded pictures. For example, if the period is set to
90 days, pictures recorded more than 90 days before
will not be played back. The retention period can be
set to a value between 1 and 99 days.
Use the RECORDING CONDITIONS SET display for
the setting.

Turn the Jog dial to highlight the AUTO DELETE
line and turn the Shuttle dial clockwise.
The current setting (default: OFF) flashes.

Turn the Jog dial to set the desired value (1 to 99)
and turn the Shuttle dial clockwise.
When the specified retention period has
expired
In PLAY mode
It is not possible to view a picture and/or listen to
audio.
As its time data will remain until the picture is
overwritten, the unit enters PLAY mode when you
press the PLAY button. However, the picture will not
be played back, and 'DELETED is indicated at the
center of screen.

In SEARCH mode (except for Archive area search)
For ALARM SEARCH, the alarm list data will remain
until the picture is overwritten. However "DELETED"
will be indicated instead of the PREVIEW picture
when you select the event.
