MOVE:JOG SELECT:SHUTTLE
When you turn the Shuttle dial clockwise, the unit
enters PLAY mode for the selected event; however the
picture cannot be played back, and audio is muted.
This condition is common to Alarm thumbnail search,
Time date search, and Activity detection search.

For the Archive area search, the AUTO DELETE
setup is not applied. So it is possible to view the
pictures even after the specified retention period has
expired.
Notes
• Network operation
Operation is the same between network operation and
the unit operation.
• Masking
Once the Auto Delete function is applied, any masked
pictures and audio cannot be played even if you
change AUTO DELETE setup. Also, they cannot be
copied to Memory Sticks.
• Influence of power OFF
If a no-power condition occurs, such as just turning
the power OFF or the power outage, the data-
retention period may be shortened. Each time power
is shut off the period may shortened by up to 10
minutes.

On-Screen Data Selection

You may independently turn on/off the on-screen data
superimposed on the images on the monitor screen or
specify titles.
Use the submenu 1. DISPLAY SET of the main menu
3. GENERAL SET.

images on the monitor screen.

VIDEO LOSS
Specify whether to indicate a message on the monitor
if the signal from a camera is lost during live
monitoring.
Changing the settings

Select 3. GENERAL SET from the main menu.

Select 1. DISPLAY SET/VIDEO LOSS from the
submenu.
The DISPLAY SET/VIDEO LOSS display
appears.

Highlight the item to be set, then turn Shuttle dial
clockwise.
The current setting flashes.

Turn the Jog dial to change the ON/OFF setting,
then turn the Shuttle dial clockwise to register your
setting.
