About This Manual
This manual is written for system integrators, IT technicians, and knowledgeable end users.
It provides information for the installation and use of the X11SCZ-F/Q motherboard.
About This Motherboard
The X11SCZ-F motherboard supports an Intel® Xeon E-2100 or 8th Genera tion Core
i3, Pentium, Celeron processor, while the X11SCZ-Q motherboard supports an Intel 8th
Generation Core i7/i5/ i3, Pentium, Celeron processor in an LGA1151 socket. Both models
provide maximum performance with the latest Intel CPU architecture, up to 64GB DDR4-
2666 memory, DisplayPort 1.2, DVI-I, M.2, dual Gigabit LAN, USB 3.1 Gen 2, PCI-E 3.0 x16
expandability, and is optimized for medical, surveillance, digital signage, DVR/NVR, POS,
office server and network security applications. Please note that this motherboard is intended

Manual Organization
Chapter 1 describes the features, specifications and performance of the motherboard, and
provides detailed information on the C246/Q370 chipset.
Chapter 2 provides hardware installation instructions. Read this chapter when installing the
processor, memory modules, and other hardware components into the system.
If you encounter any problems, see Chapter 3, which describes troubleshooting procedures
for video, memory, and system setup stored in the CMOS.
Chapter 4 includes an introduction to the BIOS, and provides detailed information on running
the CMOS Setup utility.
Appendix A provides BIOS Error Beep Codes.
Appendix B lists software program installation instructions.
Appendix C lists standardized warning statements in various languages.
Appendix D provides UEFI BIOS Recovery instructions.
