CAUTION
Connection of temperature sensors to intrinsically safe circuits with certified evaluation
devices
The temperature sensors may only be connected to intrinsically safe circuits with certified
evaluation devices. The maximum permissible input currents and powers according to the
EC type-examination certificate shall not be exceeded. This can otherwise result in damage.
If shielded, intrinsically safe temperature sensors are fitted in the stator winding, these must
be connected using the blue connecting terminals. The shield is grounded at the laminated
core; multiple grounding is not permitted.

Connecting an external fan

Preconditions
● Only use cables that comply with the relevant installation regulations regarding voltage,
● Before connecting the device, make sure that the line voltage matches the device voltage.
● Check whether the data on the fan rating plate matches the connection data.
● Cable glands are not included in the scope of delivery. Close unused cable entries,
● The line voltage must fulfill the quality criteria stipulated by DIN EN 50160 and the defined
Procedure
