Troubleshooting for printing
Phenomenon
The print is blurred.
The print is dark.

Possible causes
The AF window was blocked
during shooting.
The subject was not focused
correctly.
The lens is smeared.
Result of camera shake
The distance to the subject was
not set correctly in the manual-
focus mode.
The focus mark in the viewfinder
was blinking during shooting.
T h e s h u t t e r s p e e d i n t h e
v i e w f i n d e r w a s b l i n k i n g a t
shooting.
The subject taken with flash
was too far away in a low-light
condition.
Countermeasure
Do not block the AF window. Hold the
camera properly.
Use the AF frame, or the AF lock to
bring the subject in focus.
Clean the lens.
Hold the camera firmly and press the
shutter button gently.
Use a tripod for slow shutter speeds.
Set the correct distance.
Use the AF lock or take a photo in the
manual-focus mode.
In the aperture AE mode, change
the aperture mode or turn the main
dial to " ".
Select the
fill-in flash mode.
Take the subject within the flash
distance specified.
