[Maximum Density Adjustment]

Adjust the maximum density for each of Y, M, C, and K colors.
Adjustment range: ([Light]) [-10] to [+10] ([Dark]) for each of <Yellow>, <Magenta>, <Cyan>, and <Black>
NOTICE
The machine will carry out the Gamma Automatic Adjustment after you change the maximum density. When
the Gamma Automatic Adjustment is completed, proceed to the calibration with the Image controller.
When Intelligent Quality Optimizer IQ-501 or Relay Unit RU-509/Relay Unit RU-518 is mounted, we rec-
ommend you to first perform [Maximum Density Auto Adjustment].
Be sure to perform Color Density Manual Control after changing the maximum density.
This section describes how to make adjustments when this machine is equipped with Intelligent Quality Op-
timizer IQ-501 and Relay Unit RU-509/Relay Unit RU-518.

Press [Adjustment] on the [MACHINE] screen to display the [Adjustment Menu] screen.

Press [Quality Adjustment] and [Maximum Density Adjustment] in sequence.
