Malfunction

Shower control
cannot be shut

Unstable blend
temperature.
Cause
Insufficient hot water.
Flow regulators fitted
incorrectly.
Maximum Temperature
set incorrectly.
Flow regulators fitted
incorrectly, or not fitted.
Flow regulators fitted
when not required.
Isolating valves not fully
open.
Airlock or partially blocked
pipework.
Blocked shower head.
Blocked Filters.
Hot and cold supplies
have been connected in
reverse.
Pipework not flushed
before connecting the
shower control.
Spray plate blocked.
Flow regulators fitted
incorrectly.
Isolating valve partially
closed.
Check temperature setting of hot
water system (60°C - 65°C).

Open isolating valves.
Flush system and if appropriate fit
float type automatic air vent.
Remove and clean.
Clean or replace.
Check connections and if necessary
turn over shower control and swap
outlet fitting with blanking plug.
Clean shower control and if necessary
replace seals.
Descale.

Open fully.
