Turn lever (2) clockw ise to increase
treble range and counterclock
wise to increase bass range.
Front-Rear Speaker Balance
This control is installed whenever
the vehicle is equipped w ith rear
speakers. Turn rearward to in
crease volum e o f rear speakers and
forw ard to increase volum e of
fro n t speakers.

Station Tuning
First, select desired band by
pressing one o f the A M or FM
station buttons (3), then tune
manually by turning control
knob (4). For good reception, accu
rate manual tuning is im portant.
To preset stations on pushbutton
tuning radios in either the A M or
FM band, pull station buttons (3),
carefully tune in the desired sta
tion, push button slow ly and firm ly
all the w ay in, then release.
A u to m a tic station tuning (on
signal seeking radios only) is
accom plished by m om entarily de
pressing the "A u to m a tic T uning"
bar (6). The tuner moves from the
left tow ards the right side o f the
dial and stops w henever a use-
able station is found.
Operating the autom atic tuning bar
again causes the tuner to resume
its search fu nctio n. W hen the end
o f the band is reached, the tuner
w ill autom atically return to the be
ginning o f the band and start the
search operation again.
The position o f the search sensi
tiv ity sw itch (5) determines
w hether the tuner w ill stop at
many or the m ost pow erful stations
only.
