Installation
Position the filter on the sample line just prior to the flow chamber as illustrated below (the arrow
above the filter indicates the direction of the sample flow).

Connect the filter to the sample inlet socket (5 in
Figure
20). Ensure the arrow symbol inscribed
on the top of the filter (to indicate the direction of the sample flow) is pointing towards the flow
chamber.
Connect the sample line to the other end of the particle filter.
Make sure that the Swagelok connections at each end of the filter are securely fixed in order to
prevent any air leakage.
It is possible that air bubbles may enter the filter once the sample flow is connected. To remove
them, try increasing the flow rate. If this does not work, slightly unscrew the transparent section
of the filter until water is released between it and the blue section. This should eliminate any
remaining bubbles. Once all air bubbles have been eliminated, screw the transparent section of
the filter securely back in place.
