Before removing the memory module, follow these steps:
1. Shut down the computer.
2. Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3. Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.

Remove the memory modules:
1. Spread the two retention clips outward (1) until the memory module tilts up at a 45-degree angle.
2. Grasp the edge of the memory module (2), and then gently pull the module out of the slot. Use the same
procedure to remove both memory modules.
CAUTION:
not touch the components on the memory module.
To protect a memory module after removal, place it in an electrostatic-safe container.
