TouchPad

Description
TouchPad module for use in models with a pointing stick
Before removing the TouchPad, follow these steps:
1.
Shut down the computer.
2.
Disconnect all external devices connected to the computer.
3.
Disconnect the power from the computer by first unplugging the power cord from the AC outlet and then
unplugging the AC adapter from the computer.
4.
Remove the following components:
a.
Bottom cover (see
b.
Battery (see
c.
Hard drive (see
d.
Solid-state drive (see
e.
WWAN module (see
f.
Keyboard (see
g.
Internal frame (see
h.
TouchPad button board (see
To remove the TouchPad:
1.
Disconnect the NFC antenna cable from the NFC module reverse ZIF connector (1)
2.
Remove the five Phillips M2.0×2.0 screws (2), and then remove the TouchPad (3).
Reverse this procedure to install the TouchPad.
