9 ACCESSORIES
TO REPLACE THE VERTI-GROOM BELT
1. Disengage Verti-Groom drive clutch by
pulling clutch operating knob. This leaves
a gap between the drive pully and the
clutch operating knob. Slide the belt into
the gap to allow the drive belt to become
loose. Slide drive belt pulley lip onto the
Verti-Groom shaft.
2. Clear debrisout of pulley.
3. Fit nwe Verti-Groom drive belt by putting it
onto the Verti-Groom clutch handwheel
and the pulley, then slide it over the Verti-
Groom shaft pulley. By rotating the clutch
handwheel feed drive belt onto the pullley.
4. Adjust as above.
5. Before running the machine replace all
covers.

9.6 VERTI-GROOM LUBRICATION.

Check all nuts and bolts every 75 hours.
Lubricate the following with grease to the
specification on page10 under recommended
grease.
Weekly or every 25 working hours.
Drive belt housing (Fig.9.6a)
Verti-Groom link (Fig.9.6b)
Grooved roll
NOTE: DO NOT OVER GREASE as this may allow
debris to build up close to pulleys.
