4 Messaging

Messaging is where all of your E-mail, SMS, and MMS accounts are located.
When you receive a new message, you can open it from the Today screen. Simply tap
the row where the new message is located to read it. To access your message accounts,
tap
>Programs > Messaging and then select the account you want to read.

4.1 Messages

The device will alert you for the unread message(s) with the icon
Compose and Send a Message
Compose an SMS
Tap
>Programs > Messaging > Messages to access the messages list screen,
and then select Menu > New > SMS.
1. Enter the mobile phone number of one or more recipients, separating them
with a semicolon (;).
To access phone numbers from Contacts, press Action Key or tap Menu > Add
Recipient to select a contact from the list.
2. Tap on the text entry area and enter the message contents.
Tap Menu>My Text to add a common message to your SMS quickly.
Tap Menu>Spell Check to check the spelling.
Tip: You can press Menu>Insert to insert picture/video, audio, vcard, vcalendar
or attachment to your message. If you do this operation, the SMS message will
change to an MMS message.
3. Tap Send to send the message.
Compose an MMS
Tap
>Programs > Messaging > Messages to access the messages list screen,
select Menu > New > MMS.
