10.2 Choosing Your Synchronization Type
Synchronize with a USB Cable Connection
You can connect your phone with other devices via a USB cable. You can manually
change the connection settings as follow. The new settings will be used when you connect
your device to the PC next time.
1. Tap
> ActiveSync.
2. Tap Menu > Connections.
3. Choose USB in the drop-down menu and check Synchronize all PCs using this
connection.
Synchronize with a Bluetooth™
You can also synchronize your information by using Bluetooth wireless connectivity
technology, which allows your phone to connect to a Bluetooth-compatible device within
10 meters. To synchronize via Bluetooth connection:
1. Execute ActiveSync Help on the PC and follow the instructions for configuring
Bluetooth connections on your PC to support ActiveSync.
2. Tap
> ActiveSync.
3. Tap Menu > Connect via Bluetooth. Make sure that the phone and PC are within
10 meters.
4. When finished, tap Menu > Disconnect Bluetooth.
Note: To preserve battery power, turn off Bluetooth when it is not in use.
10.3 Setting up synchronization
You can use the default settings of synchronization preset on your device. If you want to
set up by your self, please follow the steps below. Please contact your service provider
for more detailed information.
