4. To obtain E-mail server settings automatically, select Try to get E-mail settings
from the Internet, and then tap Next.
Auto Setup tries to download necessary E-mail server settings so that you do not
have to enter them manually.
5. When Auto Setup has finished, tap Next.
If you choose not to use Auto Setup, or Auto Setup did not find the settings, go to
step 6.
If Auto Setup found the settings and complete successfully, go to step 11.
6. In the Your E-mail provider field, select Internet E-mail, and then tap Next.
7. Enter your name and then tap Next.
8. Enter your Incoming mail server and Account type information, and then tap Next.
9. Enter your user name and password.
By default, the Save password check box is selected and the device saves your
password so that you do not need to enter it every time that you re-connect. If you do
not want the device to save your password, clear the check box, and then tap Next.
10. Enter your Outgoing (SMTP) mail server information, and then tap Next.
11. In the Automatic Send/Receive field, select how frequently you want the device to
synchronize with the Internet E-mail account.
12. Tap Finish.
Set up synchronization with a Windows Live Hotmail account
You can set up your device to access your Windows Live Hotmail account for sending
and receiving E-mail.
Note: Your device must have an Internet connection before you can perform this procedure.
1. Tap >Programs>Messaging>Setup E-mail.
2. Enter your E-mail address and password, select Save password, and then tap Next.
3. When Auto Setup has finished, tap Next.
4. Tap Accept.
5. If you do not want Windows Live options to appear on the Today screen, clear Live
