NOTE:
If the CD-ROM (if enabled) and hard disk drive
boot devices are not found at system boot, the Diskette Drive
is enabled as the boot device for the current boot sequence.
System BIOS
Comments
Sets your notebook to a
specified date and time.
Enables or disables the ability
to boot from a CD-ROM
installed in the notebook.
When enabled, the CD-ROM
is the first device in the boot
sequence.
Enables or disables the ability
to boot from the Diskette
Drive.
When enabled, the Diskette
Drive is the second device in
the boot sequence if CD-
ROM Boot is enabled. If CD-
ROM Boot is disabled the
Diskette Drive is the first
device in the boot sequence.
Enables or disables a faster
boot sequence. When
enabled certain diagnostic
tests are skipped to speed up
system boot.
Turns the embedded numeric
key pad On or Off every time
the system is booted.
