• To instantly lower the radio's volume so you may hear
surrounding sounds more clearly - push the muting switch.
The display will indicate MUTE.
• To restore the original volume - push the muting switch
again to restore the original volume.

The "ambience" circuit blends and boosts certain frequencies
from both channels, for a "live perfonnance" effect.
AMB
may
be used for stereo programs from tape or lhe FM
radio. However, the ambience circuit may make weak FM
stereo signals or poorly recorded tapes sound worse.
• To use the circuil- push the ambience (AMB) button until
AMB appears in the display.
