Cassette Deck

INSERTING DIRECTION
Before opening the cassette lid,
wipe
off any dirt or water on
the outer sutface. Do not open the cassette lid in lhe rain. (The
cassette deck may be damaged
if
water enters it.)
1. Push the eject button to open the cassette lid.
2. Check there is no slack in the tape before inserting the
cassette into the cassette deck.
3. Slide the cassette into the cassette deck, following the
inserting directions shown on the lid. Close the cassette lid.
The use of 120·minUle cassette tapes is not rewmmended.
If it
is necessary to use 120-minute cassette tapes, do not switch the
TAPE mode frequently. Most 120-minute tapes stretch easily
and can become tangled in the player mechanism.
If a cassette with damaged tape is loaded into the deck, the
cassette deck
will
try
to rewind the tape for several seconds.
then come to a complete stop. The
indicator[~J
will
appear in
the display. Remove the cassette.
