4.1 Posture belts

A posture belt is an option which can either be fixed to
the mobility device ex-works or can be retrofitted by your
specialist provider. If your mobility device is fitted with a
posture belt, your specialist provider will have informed you
about fitting and usage.
The posture belt is used to help the mobility device user
keep an optimum seating position. Correct use of the
belt assists the user in sitting securely, comfortably and
well-positioned in the mobility device, especially for such
users who do not have such a good sense of balance while
sitting.
We recommend using the posture belt whenever the
mobility device is used.
