You can save the patch image file in the root directory of the flash memory on any IRF member device.
The install activate command automatically copies the file to the specified IRF member devices. The
destination directory is the root directory.
Examples
# Activate system-patch.bin for the IRF member device in slot 1.
<Sysname> install activate system-patch.bin slot 1

Usage guidelines
This command adds the patch image file to the startup image list with which the system started up.
The image file is added to the main images list if the system started up with the main startup images.
The image file is added to the backup image list if the system started up with the backup startup
images.
For software changes to take effect at the next startup, you must execute this command after executing the
install activate or install deactivate command.
