3.1.6 Removing the main board
(See Fig.7)
• Prior to performing the following procedures, remove the front
panel assembly, bottom cover, front chassis assembly, heat
sink and rear bracket.
(1) Remove the two screws M attaching the main board.
(2) Disconnect the connectors
board from the DVD mechanism assembly.
Reference:
Remove the fan unit as required.
(Disconnect the fan unit wire from the connector
main board and remove the fan unit.)
3.1.7 Removing the DVD mechanism assembly
(See Fig.8)
• Prior to performing the following procedure, remove the front
panel assembly, bottom cover, front chassis assembly, heat
sink, rear bracket and main board.
(1) From the inside of the top chassis, remove the three
screws N attaching the DVD mechanism assembly.
