Audio [Audio]

Configure audio settings.
<NOTE>
• Images and audio are not synchronized. Therefore, images and audio
may be slightly out of sync.
• The audio may skip depending on the network environment.
Audio
Set the communication mode used to transmit audio data between
the unit and the personal computer.
Setting value:
Off Do not transmit audio data between the unit and the personal
computer. All settings and controls related to audio will be
disabled.
On The personal computer receives audio data from the unit. This
allows images to be viewed on the personal computer with
audio. Images and audio are not synchronized.
Factory settings: Off
Audio encoding format
Select the audio compression format.
Setting value: G.726 / AAC-LC(High quality)
Factory settings: AAC-LC(High quality)
Audio bit rate
Set the bit rate for transmitting audio.
Setting value:
G.726
16kbps / 32kbps
AAC-LC(High quality)
64kbps / 96kbps / 128kbps
Factory settings: 128kbps
Audio interval
Selects the mic input interval.
Setting value: 20msec / 40msec / 80msec / 160msec
Factory settings: 40msec
<NOTE>
• The delay time will shorten if a shorter input interval is set. Setting a
longer input interval will increase the delay time, but you will be able
to reduce instances of audio cutting in and out. Set the value based
on your network environment.
• This setting is available only when the [Audio encoding format] is set
to [G.726].
Line Level CH1/CH3
Set the input level for the CH1/CH3 audio lines.
Setting value: +4dB, 0dB, –20dB
Factory settings: 0dB
Line Level CH2/CH4
Set the input level for the CH2/CH4 audio lines.
Setting value: +4dB, 0dB, –20dB
Factory settings: 0dB
Output VOL. CH1 to Output VOL. CH4
Set the volume for the CH1 to CH4 audio output.
Setting value: –40dB to +12dB
Factory settings: 0dB
Head Room
Set the audio headroom.
Setting value: FS-12dB, FS-18dB, FS-20dB
Factory settings: FS-20dB
Line CH Select
Select the output destinations for the audio line inputs.
Setting value:
All Line outputs for CH1 to CH4
Line outputs for CH1 and CH2 only
