1. In Macintosh Notebook, select Capture Selection from the
Screen Capture drop-down menu.
The cursor changes to a selection rectangle.
2. Move the selection rectangle (Macintosh) or the camera cursor
(Windows) to the area of the screen you want to capture.
3. Click and drag with the mouse or, on the SMART Board, press
and drag to circumscribe the precise area you want captured.
By default, the captured area will appear on a new page in the
current Notebook. You can readily alter this default placement in
Macintosh by de-selecting the Snapshot to New Page
command in the Tools menu. In Windows, de-select the check
box next to Save Pictures to New Page in the Screen Capture
toolbar. The captured image would then appear at the top of the
current Notebook page. This image can be selected and moved
anywhere on the current page or cut or copied and pasted
elsewhere.
To capture an entire current Window (for Windows):
1. Go to the window you want to capture.
2. Click the Window button in the center of the Screen Capture
toolbar.
3. Move the camera cursor to the window you want to capture.
The window will appear as a hatched area.
4. Click once to select the window.
The window will appear on a new page in the current Notebook.
NOTE: If you inadvertently capture a window or screen over
existing material on the current page, you can easily restore the
original material. Select the newly captured image by clicking
once on it, activate the Cut command, create a new page and
then select the Paste command. The captured image will appear
on the new page and the previous page will be restored to its
original state.
To capture an entire Screen:
1. Switch to the screen you want to capture.
2. Click the Screen button (in Notebook for Windows).
