Exiting a Configuration Command Mode
Purpose
Exits from the current configuration command mode and
returns to the previous configuration command mode.
Exits from the current configuration command mode and
returns to EXEC mode.
(Optional)
Exits the current configuration command mode and returns to
EXEC mode.
If you press Ctrl-Z at the end of a command line
Caution
in which a valid command has been typed, the CLI
adds the command to the running configuration
file. In most cases, you should exit a configuration
mode using the exit or end command.
