Connecting the Ethernet Backhaul Cable
The Ethernet backhaul cable plugs into the port identified by call out 2 in
to connect the Ethernet backhaul cable.
Step 1
Route the Ethernet cable through the PG-13 1/2 NPT serving the backhaul connection on the access
point.
Step 2
Insert the cable's RJ-45 connector into the Ethernet connection in the access point. Make sure the
connection is tight.
Check your work.
Step 3
Performing Maintenance
The access point requires minimal periodic or preventive maintenance as it has no moving parts, filters,
lubricants, or mechanical contact components. However, when installed in a hzardous location, periodic
inspections should be conducted in order to ensure that the access point is operating satisfactory. This
section provides information about performing maintenance on an access point installed in a hazardous
location.
