7.6 THERMAL FUSE REPLACEMENT

1. Remove the fusing knob [A] and the fusing front cover [B]. (See the
Fusing Lamp Replacement section.)
2 . Remove the fusing unit upper cover [C] (4 screws).
3 . Lower the paper exit assembly [D].
4. Pull out the temperature fuse connector [E].
5. Disconnect the fuse harness lead from the rear terminal [F] of the fusing
lamp (1 screw).
6 . Remove the temperature fuse [G] (1 screw, 2 plate clamps).
7.
Replace the temperature fuse.
