Timeout for Replay — Enter the amount of time that can pass before
the connection between the device and the TACACS+ server times
out.
3 Click OK.
4 To add a TACACS+ server, click Edit, Add and enter the following fields:
Supported IP Format — Select whether the IPv4 or IPv6 format is
supported for the TACACS+ server IP address.
IPv6 Address Type — Select whether the Link-Local or Global format
of the IPv6 Address is supported for the TACACS+ server IP address.
Host IP Address — Enter the TACACS+ server IP address.
Priority — Enter the order in which the TACACS+ servers are used if
several are defined.
Authentication Port — Enter the port number through which the
TACACS+ session occurs.
Key String — Enter the key of the TACACS+ server or select Use
Default.
Timeout for Reply (sec) — Enter the amount of time that can pass
before the connection between the device and the TACACS+ server
times out or select Use Default.
Single Connection — Select Enable to maintain a single open
connection between the device and the TACACS+ server or Disable
not to maintain a connection.
RADIUS
Remote Authentication Dial-In User Service (RADIUS) servers provide
additional security for networks. Up to eight RADIUS servers can be defined.
RADIUS servers provide a centralized authentication method for:
Telnet Access
Secure Shell Access
Web Access
Console Access
