6.4 Backing up/restoring a CompactFlash Card
3. Select the CompactFlash card in the card reader for the PC or the USB flash drive to which
the CompactFlash card image should be written.

4. Write the file CompactFlash card image to the CompactFlash card in the PC's card reader
or to the USB flash drive.
Note
CompactFlash card readers integrated into a directory, rather than into the PG/PC as a
drive, are neither offered for selection nor supported.
The CompactFlash card reader must be integrated into Windows as a drive with drive letters.
Note
Commissioning data is reset
The commissioning data is deleted when restoring a backup.
Back up the current commissioning data before restoring: For further information, see
Section Backing up commissioning data on the control (Page 177).
