K2 TANK REMOVAL WHEN REPLACING OTHER COMPONENTS - continued
• This procedure involves laying the tank in front of the machine, therefore there must be enough
space to carry out this procedure, it may be advisable to work on the floor.
• The front of the machine must also be protected before the tank is removed.
1. Remove the wrap round case (C)
2. Noting orientation, remove both door springs and
tension cable.
3. Inside the tank remove fixing nuts to the salt
container and anti siphon device.
4. Remove the spray arm support bracket (2
screws).
5. Remove the sump ring by turning anti clockwise.
6. Remove the 2 hinge support screws (1 each side).
7. Remove the rear protector.
8. Remove the tank earth wire (right hand side).
9. Ease the tank off the sump and lay the whole assembly forward
protecting the door.
Note: - When refitting, fit the sump ring first checking the sump is
correctly located into the tank, and the fixing ring is correctly locked
in place, and engaging the sump in every fixing position, before
proceeding.
