Drain Pump & Water Outlet
The drain pump is a separate unit fixed to the sump moulding assembly. It is operated by means of
a synchronous motor and is controlled by the module. There is an Anti-Siphon tube between the
pump and the outlet hose. A rubber valve is fitted into the anti-siphon tube to prevent loss of water
during washing (the rubber valve is located behind the fixing nut in the tub).

Detergent & Rinse Aid Assembly
Detergent and rinse aid is automatically released during the programme.
The release mechanism is activated by means of a solenoid. This in turn operates a plunger and
lever assembly, thus releasing detergent or rinse aid as required.
The dispenser incorporates a single solenoid.
Providing the dispenser lid is closed before use: -
The first time the solenoid is energised, the detergent lid opens;
The second time the solenoid is energised, rinse aid is dispensed.
Note: - If the detergent lid is NOT closed prior to use, rinse aid would be injected each time he
solenoid is energised.
The amount of rinse aid dose age can be adjusted.
Position 4, is the default normal position.
Increase the dose age (turn dial to a higher number), if drops of
water are still present.
Reduce the dose age (turn dial to a lower position), if there are
whitish sticky stains on dishes or a bluish film on glasses.
Note: - If multi-function tablets are being used, rinse aid is not
required and the dispenser should be set to Position 1.
