VARIOUS FUNCTIONS

Setting " Energy Saving " mode

Setting to " Energy Saving " mode (Save, Trip), the operation is changed to
the following modes for energy saving.
"Energy Saving"

All indicator lamps turn on once, and then the current settings are displayed.

Each time you touch the button, the corresponding indicator lamp changes in the
order shown below:
The Energy Saving mode is set to " Off " (all lamps off) before shipping.

Door Alarm and volume adjustment of the operation sound

You can set the sound level of the alarm louder or no alarm sound.

All indicator lamps turn on once, and then the current settings are displayed.

until the preset sound is heard.
The volume level is changed from " Standard " to " Louder " or " Sound off " .
Repeat the change of settings to set the operation sound you like (see the table
shown below). The sound is set to " Standard " before shipping.

Locking the Control Panel

This can prevent erroneous operation of the Control Panel or misuse by children.

Automatic temperature control to lower cooling loads in each compartment.
Turning down the LED light in the Refrigerator Compartment and the
LED light in the Vacuum Compartment if the door of the Refrigerator
Compartment is left open for more than 30 seconds.
Cooling down the inside of the refrigerator slowly leads to more reduction
of power consumption.
(Set it to this mode when you go out for a long time such as travel).
※ When the door (except the door of the Upper Freezer) is opened/
closed after it is set to " Trip " , it will be switched to " Save " mode.

Notice
● When both " Save " / " Trip " and " Quick (about
7 hours) " / " Quick Freeze (about 120
minutes) " / " Quick Cool (about 50 minutes) "
modes are set concurrently, " Quick " /
" Quick Freeze " / " Quick Cool " function is
performed first, and it will be set to " Save "
or " Trip " mode after the operations are
completed.

● When both " Save " / " Trip " and " Vegetable "
modes are set concurrently, the cooling
function will be weakened from the
" Vegetable " .

● When the temperature in the " Freezer
Compartment " / " Refrigerator Compartment "
is set to " Min. " , it will not be weakened so
as to maintain the freshness of foods while
LED lights in the Refrigerator Compartment
and the Vacuum Compartment only are turned
down.
Caution
● Automatic temperature control lowers cooling
loads, which may cause ice cream to get soft and
frost to form on frozen food. It also requires longer
freezing time and ice making time.
Notice
● It is impossible to adjust the volume level of
either door alarm or operation sound only.
● When the Door Alarm is disabled, characters
on the Control Panel no longer blink and
operation sound is no longer made, but alarm
indicating " Ice Maker Cleaning " does sound.
● When connecting/disconnecting the power
plug or after recovering from electric power
failure, it will return to the standard setting
where the Door Alarm sounds.
Notice
● Electric pulling-out operation will not be disabled even if
the Lock function on the panel for operation is set as On.
To disable the Auto Door function, unlock the
Control Panel and then press and hold the
button for 3 seconds or more until 2
