Change the settings of the Vacuum Compartment

All indicator lamps turn on once, and then the current settings are displayed.

button to change the settings as you like
The display switches in sequence as shown below every time the button is touched.
The temperature is set to " Subzero " before shipping.
Subzero (-1˚C)
※ The above values are obtained with an ambient temperature of 30˚C, the temperature in the Vacuum compartment in a stable state with no
food stored and no door opened.
The following foods should be stored at " Subzero " setting.
● Meat, processed meat
Subzero
(About -1˚C)
This setting is also suited for thawing. Foods high in water content may
freeze.
The following foods should be stored at " Chiller " setting.
● Fresh salad
Chiller
● Precut vegetables and fruits
(About +1˚C)
● Dairy products
Green beans, snow peas, tomatoes, strawberries etc.
The vacuum function/photocatalyst function is disabled. This setting
OFF
is recommended to store food in " sealed bags " or " sealed containers "
(About -1˚C)
which requires caution in storing. Foods high in water content may
freeze because this is a regular ice-temperature compartment.
● The vacuum effect will not be changed even if foods are wrapped.

Caution
● Foods high in water content may freeze if ambient temperature is low.
● The temperatures of the Vacuum Compartments also change if the temperature of Refrigerator/Freezer Compartment is set to
" Max. " or " Min. " .
Request
Dew and/or frost may occur in the Compartment due to moisture contained in foods or in the air
because the Vacuum Compartment is sealed.
● Wipe dew and/or frost off with a soft cloth wet by lukewarm water.
● Wipe water or soup spilled in the compartment soon, if any.
※ A water droplet and/or frost won't have a bad impact on performance.

● Food which form air
Japanese basil,
oranges, kiwis etc.

Tofu, konnyaku, deep-
fried tofu, string konnyaku,
boiled eggs etc.
Food which are not suitable for storage
Vegetables in sealed bags or airtight
containers, coffee beans, tea leaves
etc.

● Food contained in a sealed bag
The bag may be inflated during storage, which
could result in crushing of other stored food.
Caution
Vienna sausage, sliced cheese etc.
● Plastic airtight container
The lid of the container may become loose
or may not stay in place during storage. Be
careful when you take out the container.
Caution
● Vegetable sensitive to low temperature
The surface of the vegetable may deteriorate
due to low temperature. Store it in the
Vegetable Compartment.
