Building additional framing off of the framing kit

BUILDING FRAMING OFF OF THE KIT
Potential Wood Framing installs
This framing kit is designed as a base in which to build additional
framing. Studs can be affi xed to all outer faces using the holes
identifi ed below. This will provide a stable surface that is fl ush with
the front of the fi replace, ready for drywall or other fi nishing material.
The framing must be strong enough to support the weight of all
fi nishing material and must not put any weight on the fi replace.
Holes for fi xing additional
framing to kit
1/2" for drywall
Leave gap between
framing and unit trim
for nishing material
