Description
System Initiation Task –
Main
SIT Parent Sub-function
SIT Reap Sub-function
Function
Initiated at system start-up.
Reads and provides startup configuration to other SIT
components.
Starts SITREAP sub-function.
Maintains CPU state information.
Starts management cards in either active or standby
mode.
Registers tasks with HAT task.
Notifies CSP task of CPU startup completion.
Brings up packet processing cards in standby mode.
Shuts down tasks as required.
