Machine Will
Not Lift - DC
Models
Be sure the
keyswitch is in the
appropriate position.
Be sure the
Emergency Stop
buttons are pulled
up to the on
position.
Be sure the power
light and all interlock
display lights are
on.
Part No. 40462
Check for power at
terminal 9 (red wire) of 13
pole terminal strip (J1).
0V DC
Put Neg. lead of voltage
meter on terminal 10
(ground terminal).
12V DC
Check for power at
terminal 1 of Emergency
Stop switch contact in
platform control box. Put
0V DC
Neg. lead of voltage
meter on terminal 10
(green/yellow wire) of 13
pole terminal strip (J1) in
ground control box.
12V DC
Emergency Stop switch
should be pulled up for
the contact to close.
0V DC
Check for power at
terminal 2 of Emergency
Stop switch contact.
12V DC
Check for power at
0V DC
terminal 4 of control
activate switch.
12V DC
While pushing in and
holding the control
0V DC
activate switch, check for
power at terminal 3 of the
control activate switch
contact.
12V DC

Section 5 - Troubleshooting Flow Charts
Replace the P.C. board.
Replace 16/6 cable
because of open in red
wire OR repair open in
quick disconnect under
ground control box.
Replace Emergency Stop
switch N.C. contact
block.
Replace the red wire
(because of open circuit)
between the Emergency
Stop switch contact
block and the control
activate switch contact
block.
Replace the control
activate switch N.O.
contact block.
