DESCRIPTION
Select the check box at the top to enable syslog, and deselect to disable this function.
Select the "active" check box to enable the server's logging function.
Select this option to set the device to generate logs for the corresponding category.
The default Facility is local use 7. Click to select other syslog server functions from the
pull-down menu.
Click Apply to save your changes to the Switch's run-time memory. The Switch loses
these changes if it is turned off or loses power.
Click Cancel to begin configuring this screen afresh.
DESCRIPTION
Select this check box to have the Switch send logs to this syslog server. Clear the
check box if you want to create a syslog server entry but not have the Switch send
logs to it (you can edit the entry later).
Enter the IP address of the syslog server.
Select the severity level(s) of the logs that you want the Switch to send to this syslog
server. The lower the number, the more critical the logs are.
Click Add to save your changes to the Switch's run-time memory. The Switch loses
these changes if it is turned off or loses power.
