Telligence™ Voice Command
Garmin's Telligence Voice Command voice recognition feature allows
the pilot (and optionally copilot) to control the GTN 7xx connected
to a GMA 35 using spoken commands. To activate Voice Recognition,
push and hold the Push-to-Command (PTC) button while speaking a
command. When the Push-to-Command button is released, the GTN 7xx
will respond.
If a command is understood by the GTN 7xx, a positive acknowledgement
chime will be played, and the relevant page will be displayed to reflect the
change (if applicable). The pilot should verify that the correct response
has occurred. If the desired change has not occurred, the pilot should
repeat the command by using the Push-to-Command button, or by
manually using the GTN 7xx touch screen.
If a command is not understood by the GTN 7xx, a negative
acknowledgement tone will be played. The pilot should repeat the
command by using the Push-to-Command button, or by manually
using the GTN 7xx touch screen. In the event of any abnormal Voice
Recognition operation, the front panel controls and touch screen may be
used to override Voice Recognition and manually control the GTN 7xx.
NOTE: If Telligence Voice Command malfunctions and needs to be disabled,
remove power to the GMA 35 audio panel by pulling the audio panel circuit
breaker. This will force the audio panel into the fail-safe mode. The pilot
will be able to communicate using the COM 2 radio only.

associated actions, and the voice response if applicable:
