2. Screw in adjuster bolt unti! opposite end of joint pin is
forced against it.
NOTE:
Screw in adjuster bolt unti! finger-tight.

3. By use of handlebar, stake end of joint pin by turning
pressure bolt B 3/4 turno
NOTE:
Never exceed 3/4 turno
4. After backing off pressure bolt A approx." two turns, back
off wedge pin 1/4 turo (90 degrees) and repeat steps thru
3 so that end of joint pin is staked in a cross pattern.
Repeat entire steps on apposite end.
NOTE:
Besure that cross patterned stakings beperformed at 900
angles.

1. Remove the brake adjusting nut and separate the brake rod
from the brake armo
2. Remove the right muffler.

3. Remove the brake pedal spring from the brake pedalo
4. Pull out the cotter pin that secures the main stand pivot
pipe.
5. Loosen the main stand locking bolts. Withdraw the pivot
pipe and remove the brake pedalo
6. Remove the brake rod from the brake pedalo
7. To assemble the brake linkage, reverse the disassembly
procedures after applying a coat of grease to the main stand
pivot pipe.
8. Adjust the brake pedal free height and free play.
