Disassembly
Oil filter
1. Drain the engine thoroughly by removing the drain plug.
2. Remove the right muffler, step bar and kick starter pedalo
3. Loosen off the screws and remove the right crankcase
cover.
4. Pry off the 45mm snap ring and remove the oil filter rotar
cap by screwing in a 6mm bolt into the hole in the oi} filter
cap.

5. Straighten the tabs of the iock washer away from the
groove in the iock nut. With lise of the "Lock Nut Wrench"
(Tooi No.O7916-6390000), remove the iock nut.
6. Puli out the oii filter rotor from the crankshaft.

Oil pump
1. Remove the oil filtel.
Z. Loosen off the bolts and remove the clutch springs and
clutch pressure plate.
3. Remove the clutch lifter joint piece, friction discs, clutch
plates.
4. Pry off the snap ring and remove the clutch center.
5. Straighten the tabs of the lock washers and remove the oil
pump attaching bolts. Take out the oil pump with the
clutch outer.

6. Pry out the snap ring [rom the clutch outer and remove the
pump rod and side washer.
7. Pull out the pump plunger pin; remove the plunger [rom
the pump rodo
8. Remove the pump screen filter [rom the oil pump.
