Apply uniform pressure to push
the front-wheel stand down
and raise the motorcycle.

with centre stand
ATTENTION
Centre stand retracts if
vehicle lifted too high.
Risk of damage to parts if vehicle
topples.
When raising the vehicle, make
sure that the centre stand re-
mains on the ground.
If necessary, adjust the height
of the front-wheel stand.
Make sure the motorcycle is
standing firmly.

Headlight fairing

Swinging headlight fairing
down

Remove screws 1.
Carefully swing headlight fair-
ing 2 forward, making sure that
bushings 3 do not drop out.
Securing light-top shield
Swing headlight fairing 2 up,
making sure that bushings 3
are in position.
Install screws 1.

Engine oil

Checking engine oil level
ATTENTION
The oil level varies with the
temperature of the oil. The
higher the temperature, the
higher the level of oil in the
sump.
