Setting Auto Power Off

You can set the camera to turn off automatically when no operation is
performed for a fixed time.

Select [Auto Power Off] on the [B Set-up] menu.

Press the four-way controller (5).
A pull-down menu appears.

Use the four-way controller (23) to select [5min],
[3min] or [Off].

Press the shutter release button.
The Auto Power Off setting is saved and the screen returns to capture
status. Refer to Step 6 of "How to Use the Menus" (p.43) for other
operations after the setting has been made.
The Auto Power Off function will not work during a slideshow or
movie playback.

Resetting to Default Settings (Reset)

You can reset all the settings other than the Date Adjust, Language/
and World Time. Refer to the default setting list (p.179) for the reset settings.

Select [Reset] on the [B Set-up] menu.

Press the four-way controller (5).
The Reset screen appears.

Use the four-way controller (2) to select [Reset].

Press the 4 button.
The settings return to the defaults and the camera is ready to take or
play back images.
