Chapter 5 Scanner Operation
[SCAN DENSITY]
Press this key to select a read density. The default is the same as that in the copy
mode.
When the original document is being read, you can change the density, but you
cannot select [AUTO] in the process.
[LENS MODE]
Press this key to change the magnification ratio at which the original document is
read.
You can select [ZOOM], [RE] or [1:1]. [RE] is the same as the default in the copy
mode.
[ZOOM] range in each resolution are as follows:
200 dpi:
300 dpi:
400 dpi:
600 dpi:
[SCAN SIZE]
Press this key to select the scanning paper size.
Available only when using the Platen mode. You can select [AUTO] or [SIZE
SETTING].

Allows you to select a scanning frame size.
When an A3 original is loaded and you select A4, then
the scanning takes on the A4 frame.
