WLAN module

The WLAN module is located near from the front of the computer. The module is secured with one Phillips
screw and has two connected antennas. The main antenna connects to a transceiver near the speaker
assembly. The auxiliary antenna connects to a transceiver on the rear of the chassis.
NOTE: WLAN module appearance may vary.
1. Prepare the computer for disassembly
2. Remove the access panel
3. Disconnect the antenna cables from the module (1).
4. Remove the screw (2) that secures the module to the system board.
5. Pull the module away from the socket to remove (3).
To install the WLAN module, reverse the removal procedure.
NOTE: WLAN modules are designed with a notch to prevent incorrect insertion.
